58th Actuarial Research Conference
Drake University is proud to announce that it will host the 58th Actuarial Research Conference (ARC) from July 30 to August 2, 2023. The ARC is a major event in the North America’s actuarial community, bringing together scholars and practitioners across the world. Attendees will discuss emerging research on some of the most pressing questions in the field of actuarial science.
The conference will feature keynote speakers, invited sections, and presentations from leading academics and industry professionals. In addition, the conference will provide a platform for attendees to network and connect with other actuaries and researchers. This is a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, collaborate on research projects, and build lasting professional relationships.
Drake’s actuarial science program began in 1950s and has been cultivated by many prominent actuarial educators including Newton Bowers, Warren Adams, and Stuart Klugman. Through several generations, Drake has built up a vast alumni network and a prominent national and international reputation. Today, the university is recognized as a Center of Actuarial Excellence and produces some of the most well-respected actuaries in the field. The 58th ARC will provide an opportunity for Drake University to showcase its commitment to the advancement of actuarial science and to raise awareness of the important role of actuarial research in universities.
